Over the weekend, gas prices at many Estevan stations dropped below the 80 cents/litre mark, being the lowest they’ve been in a long time.

Gas prices dropped on Friday, affected by the markets’ panic related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty around the deepening clash between OPEC and Russia.

Prices in Estevan remained consistent throughout the weekend, however, we still may see more drops coming in the near future.

And while in Estevan prices went down about 20 cents over the course of the last few weeks, in other parts of the province the changes were even more significant. According to gasbuddy.com, gas was selling at as low as 57.9 cents in Saskatoon on Sunday.
