Part of Fifth Street closed for sewer replacement

The City of Estevan has announced that the 1300-block of Fifth Street is closed due to a sewer main replacement.

There is no through traffic in the area, including the south sidewalk for pedestrians.

Becky Westling, the destination marketing/communications consultant for the city, said the closure will last throughout the day, and could continue into the night, with the construction extending into tomorrow.

There will still be access to Kal Tire from Fifth Street, via the intersection with 13th Avenue.
