The demolition of one of Estevan's most well-known buildings is underway.
The Derrick Motor Hotel, which has been closed since early 2016, is coming down, with the tear-down of the building starting this week.
The hotel was at one time one of the most popular businesses in the community, thanks to its rooms, food, banquet facilities, live music, swimming pool and more that created so many fond memories for local residents.
