Promoting great deals for a great cause

Estevan Mercury Publications publisher-sales manager Deanna Tarnes and editor David Willberg were at the Estevan Farmer’s Market sale Saturday in the Estevan Shopper's Mall's parking lot, to sell copies of the Mercury's coupon book.

Many people stopped by to purchase copies of the book, which costs $10. Net proceeds from the sale of the coupon book will be directed to the United Way Estevan.

Even though it was a cool and, at times, rainy morning in Estevan, the market still had good attendance for its vendors.

The coupon books have deals from more than 20 local businesses; some businesses have more than one coupon.

These books showcase that you can get everything you need in Estevan.

Copies of the coupon book can be purchased at the Mercury's office, at Henders' Drugs and at the Estevan A&W restaurant.
