The Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public of potential exposure to COVID-19 in Estevan where a person or persons attended while likely infectious.

Both were at the Southern Plains Co-op’s grocery store in Estevan. One was Oct. 25 from 3-3:30 p.m., and the other was Oct. 27 from 1-1:30 p.m.
In a post on the Co-op’s Facebook page, general manager Brian Enns their staff has been working diligently to ensure safety to our customers and staff during the COVID pandemic.

“Our high traffic contact areas are constantly cleaned throughout the day, along with till areas being sanitized between each customer,” he wrote.

The safety of the public will continue to be of high importance during this time.

Staff members at all locations are required to have their temperature taken twice a day and have been doing so since March.

Public Health officials are advising individuals who were at these locations on the specified dates during the specified times to self-monitor for 14 days, and if you have had or develop symptoms of COVID-19, immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your physician or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing.

It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
