The Southeast Saskatchewan Council of Realtors (SSCR) has presented money to charity before the conclusion of its operations.

The SSCR includes the former Estevan Real Estate Board (EREB), which was created in 1987 to facilitate the introduction of the Canadian Real Estate Association's MLS system.

Since its inception, members of the EREB and later the SSCR have contributed to a fund, with an intended purpose of giving back to the communities they represent. Effective Jan. 1, 2020, all remaining real estate associations and councils will be amalgamating into a brand new single association for the province – the Saskatchewan Realtors Association.

As a result, the SSCR is winding down its operations and making contributions to three very worthy organizations in the southeast, with $5,300 each going to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation and STARS Air Ambulance for total support of $15,900.
