The City of Estevan has reached a new four-year collective bargaining agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees, which represents the city unionized staff.
The current three-year deal was slated to expire on Dec. 31.
Wages were negotiated to give no wage increase in the first year with a commitment of completing a joint job evaluation. There will also be a one per cent increase in the second year, and a one and half per cent increase in the third and fourth years.
