The St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation received an unexpected gift from some of its volunteers at the recent Festival of Trees.

The hospital foundation enlisted the help of the Outram-Madigan 4-H Beef Club to set up and tear down each event during the Festival of Trees. This required hundreds of hours of work from the youths from Nov. 24 to 26.

For this service, the foundation paid the club $1,500. The club donated this money back to the foundation after their hours of hard work and dedication.

Foundation executive director Becky Cassidy applauded the club for its work ethic and generous contribution to the foundation through both time and money.
