Her case was adjourned for sentencing on Aug. 6.

Jury selection for the trial occurred on June 10. The trial began later that afternoon. It continued until June 13, and resumed on June 16. The judge gave the jury instructions in the early afternoon on June 17, and the verdict was handed down at about 8:40 p.m. that night.

A co-accused in the case, Neil Goertzen, has had his matters adjourned until the conclusion of Ellson’s matters.
