EPS members make an arrest for drug possession on the weekend

Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for drug possession on the weekend. Officers received a call Saturday about a 35-year-old woman from Regina being abandoned in Estevan.

Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for drug possession on the weekend.  

Officers received a call Saturday about a 35-year-old woman from Regina being abandoned in Estevan. When located, she was found to be in possession of methamphetamines.

She has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Arrangements were made for her to return to Regina.

Also on Saturday, police were called to a Pleasantdale residence on a number of occasions regarding a noise complaint. A male was issued a summary offence ticket under the bylaw and will appear in court in August.

Members received a report of criminal harassment Friday from an individual in Regina that is being harassed by someone in Estevan. The matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of an individual breaching their release conditions by contacting the complainant. The matter is still under investigation and charges are pending.
