EPS members make an arrest for stolen property

Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for possession of stolen property on Monday. Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Rimbey, Alta., on the stolen property charge. The male also had warrants of arrest that were outstanding.

Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for possession of stolen property on Monday.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Rimbey, Alta., on the stolen property charge. The male also had warrants of arrest that were outstanding. He was released with a May court date in Estevan, and he was further released on the outstanding warrant to appear on those matters as well.

Police attended to a motor vehicle accident in a parking lot. No injuries were reported and minimal damage occurred. Police remind the public that with temperatures this low the roads will be icier than usual.

Members attended to a disturbance in the Trojan subdivision on Saturday. Officers spoke to the individuals involved and resolved the situation. No further action was necessary.

Police received a report of an individual wearing their mask but not wearing it properly. Officers attended and spoke to the individual concerned and received an apology. Police are continuing to remind the public to follow all public health regulations currently in effect.
