EPS releases details on drugs found in Estevan

The Estevan Police Service (EPS) is requesting the public’s assistance with a recent case of found drugs. On Oct. 24, police were alerted to a suspicious package located near the railway tracks on King Street, close to Chinook Bay.

The Estevan Police Service (EPS) is requesting the public’s assistance with a recent case of found drugs.

On Oct. 24, police were alerted to a suspicious package located near the railway tracks on King Street, close to Chinook Bay.

Police located a black bag containing a plastic baggie filled with a significant amount of powder as well as a container containing liquid. The items were seized and sent for analysis. It has now been confirmed that the substances were in fact ecstasy and methamphetamine.

If anyone has any information relating to the origin of the substances, they are asked to contact the EPS.

Parents are asked to remind their children to never ingest any substance found in these types of circumstances.

Police are continuing to investigate this matter.
