A motorist is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop earlier this week.

According to a tweet issued Wednesday, members of the Estevan Combined Traffic Services conducted a traffic stop and discovered the licence plate did not belong to the car it was displayed on.

The driver was also suspended.

The motorist was issued tickets and the vehicle was impounded for 60 days.

Also this week, a mischief occurred in north-central Estevan. Individuals caused damage to surrounding property when they knocked over a portable toilet, causing feces to be dumped on the ground.

The matter remains under investigation.
