Estevan police arrest an impaired driver on the weekend

The Estevan Police Service (EPS) nabbed an impaired driver during Saturday’s night shift. Police charged a 45-year-old Estevan man for driving while impaired and driving while over .08 after a traffic stop on Cundall Drive.

The Estevan Police Service (EPS) nabbed an impaired driver during Saturday’s night shift.

Police charged a 45-year-old Estevan man for driving while impaired and driving while over .08 after a traffic stop on Cundall Drive. He was released for court in February and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

Officers received multiple calls for possible impaired drivers during the night shift. The vehicles were located and mandatory breath tests were completed. The EPS is happy to report that these drivers were found to be sober. Police thank the public for remaining vigilant and encourage people to report suspicious activity when they see it.

Police arrested an Estevan man with outstanding warrants. He was processed and released with a February court date.

Members attended to an east end multi-residential complex Dec. 26 for a report of a disturbance and disagreement. They remained on scene to mediate a resolution.

Police received a report of a fraud in relation to property. The matter is still under investigation.

Officers checked individuals currently on release conditions. The condition checks resulted in two individuals being charged for breaching their release conditions.

Police received a report of a loud stereo. Officers attended and warned the property owner under the bylaw.

Members received a report of a road rage incident. It is being looked into.
