Estevan police make arrests for credit card theft, uttering threats

Members of the Estevan Police Service made a couple of arrests on Sunday.

A traffic stop was made in the north end of the city, which resulted in a 43-year-old Hitchcock woman being arrested and charged with theft of a credit card as well as fraud, after she used the card at various locations earlier in the week.

The woman was released and is scheduled to make her first court appearance on July 12.

Also, after investigation into a complaint of uttering threats, a 44-year-old man from Estevan was arrested and held in custody. He is facing two charges of uttering threats and a charge of public mischief, and he will appear in court Monday morning.
