Estevan Police Service releases names of four alleged impaired drivers

The Estevan Police Service (EPS) has released the names of four people charged for allegedly driving while impaired. Geoffrey Hirst, 29, of Estevan was charged in connection with an incident on May 29.

The Estevan Police Service (EPS) has released the names of four people charged for allegedly driving while impaired. 

Geoffrey Hirst, 29, of Estevan was charged in connection with an incident on May 29. He has been charged with impaired driving and operating a conveyance with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08. He was also charged for breaching his release conditions and public mischief for misleading a police officer, as according to the EPS, he claimed he had been assaulted and had his vehicle was stolen. The incident appeared suspicious and through investigation police determined he had been in an single vehicle accident. His vehicle was located in a storm drain on the south side of the city.

Christopher Love, a 32-year-old Regina resident. was charged with impaired driving and operating a conveyance with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08.

 

The other two were charged on June 14. Lucinda Prokopetz, 45, of Estevan, and Jerry Rosner, 55, also of Estevan were charged with impaired driving and operating a conveyance with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08 in separate incidents.

None of these charges have been proven in court.
