A 66-year-old man from Manor has died due to exposure to the cold temperatures.
Members of the Carlyle RCMP were dispatched to Manor on Feb. 2 regarding the missing person. He was last seen at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 1.
Family members searching for the man located his vehicle approximately a mile from the residence but he was not in the vehicle. They followed footprints in the snow to a grain silo, where he was located dead.
The male was not properly dressed for winter conditions, and that is believed to be a major factor. His death is not suspicious in nature however the coroner has ordered an autopsy.
His name was not released.
