Mayor Roy Ludwig announced Thursday that Police Chief Paul Ladouceur has tendered his resignation to pursue other opportunities.
The resignation will take effect on April 16.
A search for a new chief will be conducted.
“We wish Paul all the best in his future endeavours,” states a news release.
No further information was immediately released.
Ladouceur has been the police chief in Estevan since April 2014.
