Police arrest a prohibited driver Sunday

An Esterhazy man has been charged with two offences after he was arrested Sunday.

As a result of a traffic stop in the 400-block of King Street, the 24-year-old man has been charged with driving while prohibited and an allegation of breach of conditional sentence order.

The man was lodged in cells and will be taken in front of a Justice of the Peace today.

The vehicle he was operating was impounded for 30 days.

Police and EMS also responded to an elderly woman in distress at a north Estevan department store. The woman was attended to with no life threatening concerns and was left in the responsibility of her husband.
