Police performed a number of check stops in search of impaired drivers on Saturday night. Nearly 300 vehicles were checked.
As a result of those checks three traffic violations were issued. None of the drivers were found to be impaired.
Police also received a report and impaired driver (RID) call on Oct. 11. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver was not found to be impaired. He was warned about his driving.
The same day police received a report of a male attempting to sell narcotics outside a local liquor establishment. The matter is still under investigation.
