The Estevan Police Service (EPS) is reminding the public about the need to be cautious in school zones.

The EPS is asking people to drive safely and watch out for excited young people. Students will be returning to the classroom on Tuesday; it will be their first in-person learning session since mid-March.

EPS members will be out patrolling the school zones, which have a speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour. Speed limits in school zones apply throughout the year, due to the presence of playgrounds on school properties, but there will be increased student activity on Tuesday and greater police presence.
