Public is asked to keep eyes open for trailer and quad, stolen by Carnduff

Carnduff RCMP Detachment is asking for public assistance in regards to quad and trailer theft. The information came through the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory system Friday morning.

On Jan.20, Carnduff RCMP Detachment received a complaint of theft from an oilfield site in the RM of Storthoaks. The complainant reported that a trailer was towed from the oilfield site and that the trailer was loaded with a quad.

The oilfield site was monitored by video surveillance, but the camera was located and the lens was spray painted.

The complainant believed the theft would have occurred in the late hours of Jan. 19 or early morning hours of Jan. 20.

There are no witnesses or suspects at this time. However, the Carnduff RCMP are appealing to rural residents to come forth and report sightings of any suspicious people, vehicles or activity.
