The RCMP Major Crimes Unit – South is asking for the public’s assistance with a homicide in North Battleford.
Battleford RCMP received a report a deceased adult male located in the backyard of a property in the 1500-block of 105th Street in North Battleford.
Officers attended to the property and determined the deceased male was 20-year-old Damian Moosomin of North Battleford, who was reported missing to police on May 11.
The death appeared suspicious in nature and Battleford RCMP requested assistance from the RCMP Major Crime Unit – South. Investigators have determined Damian Moosomin is a victim of a homicide. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Regina.
Investigators believe there may be individuals who have crucial information or evidence that can help police determine the circumstances that led to Damian Moosomin’s murder.
