Two of these complaints resulted in further investigation and action being taken by the police.

One of the traffic complaints led to the RCMP stopping a vehicle on Highway 39 north of Estevan. A drug investigation ensued, and two male subjects were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine and marijuana. Two provincial traffic violation tickets were also issued during the traffic stop.

One of the males is from Regina and the other is from Estevan.

A second traffic complaint resulted in the RCMP stopping a vehicle on Highway 18 near Outram. The driver of the vehicle was issued a roadside suspension for driving while under the influence of drugs.

The Estevan RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in keeping the roads safe for all drivers.
