Update: Fifth person charged in connection with home invasion

The Estevan Police Service has arrested and charged a fifth person in connection with an alleged home invasion that took place in the city last Friday.

The Estevan Police Service has arrested and charged a fifth person in connection with an alleged home invasion that took place in the city last Friday.

Kevin Evans, a 33-year-old Estevan resident was apprehended at his home without incident on May 27 and appeared in Estevan Provincial Court the following day. He was remanded into custody. 

He has been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, break and enter to a dwelling, disguise with intent, uttering threats, breach of an undertaking and breach of probation.

All charges are under the Criminal Code of Canada.

The investigation into this matter is continuing and anyone with further information is asked to call Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers or the Estevan Police Service.
