Update: Highway 39 near Yellow Grass open again

Highway 39 northwest of Yellow Grass is open again after a two-vehicle collision.

The Saskatchewan RCMP sent out a news release Monday morning reporting that the highway had been shut down due to the incident. No further details were released.

The STARS Air Ambulance reported it had been dispatched to a scene call emergency in the Yellow Grass area at 8:41 a.m.

The highway will be closed while the investigation is ongoing and travellers are asked to find alternative routes.  Accident reconstructionists are attending to the scene.

The Mercury will have more details as they become available.
