The Estevan Police Service has announced that its popular youth nights will be returning next week.

In a post on its Twitter feed, the EPS said the youth nights would resume Jan. 15, and would continue every second Wednesday until Feb. 26. They will occur from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Estevan Church of God’s gymnasium.

Young people ages eight to 15 are welcome to attend. Participants are asked to bring clean indoor shoes and a water bottle.

Kickball, basketball, dodgeball and floor hockey are among the sports that could be offered. Members of the EPS will be present each time.

The EPS first offered the youth nights in the fall of 2017. They returned last fall after a hiatus of nearly two years, thanks to a grant from the Community Initiatives Fund.
