Thick black smoke spreading over Estevan Friday evening can be seen from miles away.
The smoke is coming from the Regens Metals scrap yard.
Estevan Fire Rescue Service trucks were seen on their way to the location at about 7 p.m.
While there are a loader and other equipment working around the big burning pile, at this time it’s not clear if it’s a planned burn or an emergency.
