A gorgeous snowy owl was spotted last weekend along Highway 18 about 15 kilometres west of Estevan.
These beautiful birds mostly reside in the high Arctic tundra.
While a large number of those owls stay in their northern range over winter, some migrate into southern Canada for the coldest time of the year.
But they usually head back north in spring for breeding.
