City announces multiple road closures for this week

The City of Estevan has announced road closures that will be in effect for part of this week.

The 1000-block of Third Street is closed Tuesday with no through traffic due to construction work on the expansion for the Estevan Police Service’s building.

The public is requested to avoid this area for the day and find an alternate route.

Also, Alexandra Avenue from Edward Street to Albert Street, as well as Alexandra Avenue from Eva Street to Henry Street, will be closed on July 1 due to road patching. The public is requested to avoid the two blocks of Alexandra until the construction work has been completed.

The 1600-block of Grundeen Crescent is closed July 2 with no through traffic due to a water break. This closure includes the north sidewalk to all pedestrian traffic.
