Two vehicles didn’t manage to get thorough the intersection of 13th Avenue and King Street safely Wednesday morning. The accident happened at about 7:45 a.m.
Estevan Police Service Constable Lana Gropp had the details.
“A 33-year-old male driver struck a smaller vehicle that was attempting the left turn,” Gropp said.
According to the unnamed witness of the accident, the airbag went off in the smaller vehicle. The driver was assessed on scene by EMS and later released with minor injuries. The 33-year-old pickup driver was charged with disobeying the red light.
It took about 10 minutes to clean up the accident scene.
