Estevan MLA joins protests

Estevan MLA Lori Carr was among those who braved the cold Saturday afternoon for the latest Yellow Vest Movement protest in front of Estevan's City Hall.

Carr chatted with the protesters who gathered for this week's event. While numbers were down this week due to the cold, they still receive plenty of encouragement from passing motorists who honked their horns.

The Yellow Vests have been meeting in front of City Hall each Saturday since Dec. 15 to protest some of the policies of the current federal government.
