The grass fire that started west of Estevan Tuesday afternoon is still glimmering.
Firefighters remain on scene. There are also graders trying to prevent the fire from spreading.
The smoke could be seen from the city earlier in the afternoon, and now it’s just the smell that spreads all around town.
With some wind present, the fire came out of control, and so far the fire services were trying to put it don for more than four hours.
No official comments were made and there is no information on acreage affected by the fire so far.
