This week's Flashback is from the April 6, 1977 edition of the Estevan Mercury. It celebrates the efforts of a local peewee hockey team to win both the league and provincial titles.

The Legion peewee hockey club not only were the league champions but also the playoff champions in the Estevan Minor Hockey Association. Out of 37 games they only lost one and tied one. Back row, from left, Kevin Houde, Blaine Donauer, Paul Drebit, Allan Hogan, Brad Johnson, Tim Harrop and Ken Walliser. Missing were Dan Seale, Dean Latimer and David Hill. Recently they won the local peewee tournament.
