Flashback – July 16, 1975

In July 1975 a new Hoffman Duolift electric above ground hoist has been installed at the Estevan Canadian Tire Store, which at that time was at 1104 Fifth Street. The hoist was believed to be the only one in southeast Saskatchewan.

In July 1975 a new Hoffman Duolift electric above ground hoist has been installed at the Estevan Canadian Tire Store, which at that time was at 1104 Fifth Street.

The hoist was believed to be the only one in southeast Saskatchewan.

It was capable of lifting all types of vehicles to enable easier access to the machinery, in 44 seconds.
