A portion of a provincial highway that cuts through Estevan has its traffic flows affected Tuesday due to road work.
Highway 47 South from Perkins Street to the junction with Highway 18 is restricted to single-lane traffic for north and southbound motorists.
Vehicles are being directed by flag people, and the speed limit has been reduced to 30 kilometres per hour.
The public is asked to slow down, use caution when travelling through the uneven construction surface and follow all detour signage.
Also, the 1000-block of Third Street remains closed due to construction of the expansion for the Estevan Police Service’s building. The water main replacement on Veterans Crescent is also ongoing.
