The Estevan Humane Society and the Estevan Public Library teamed up for Paws to Reading Saturday at the humane society's animal shelter.
Young people and adults interacted with and read to the pets who currently reside at the shelter.
Traditionally the program has been held at the library, but it was shifted to the shelter for the first time Saturday. It is hoped that it can happen at the shelter one Saturday a month this year.
