SJHL receives clearance to resume play

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has received the green light to begin play immediately. In a press release issued Friday evening, the SJHL said it would be allowed to have a maximum of 150 fans in attendance.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has received the green light to begin play immediately.

In a press release issued Friday evening, the SJHL said it would be allowed to have a maximum of 150 fans in attendance. It appears that the 150-person limit is for preseason games, as the league laer said that attendance for regular season games, slated to begin the week of Nov. 2, has yet to be determined. 

Fans will be required to wear masks while in the arena.

Teams are scheduling exhibition games to be played between now and Nov. 1. The Estevan Bruins said they would play four exhibition games versus Weyburn, but dates have yeto to be announced. 

 

The Bruins said their regular season will start after Nov. 1, with dates and attendance numbers to be announced.
