Slack performance at the Exhibition Grounds went as scheduled despite the severe storm that hit Estevan Saturday morning.
Rain or shine, cowboys were on their horses showing their best in team roping, barrel racing, tie down roping and other performances.
The dirt flying of animals’ hoofs just made the event more exciting.
The second night of the CCA Rodeo will start at 7 p.m. and will have bareback, novice bareback, saddle bronc, novice saddle bronc, bull riding, tie down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, ladies barrel racing, junior girls barrel racing and junior steer riding performances.
