The United Way Estevan’s 44th annual telethon is underway, and has already enjoyed excellent support from the community.
The telethon cleared the $56,000 mark in donations during the noon hour. This year’s goal is $320,000, with funds raised going to the United Way’s 15 member agencies and its community impact projects.
The pledge line is 306-340-4625.
This year’s telethon features a mixture of live entertainment and pre-recorded performances. Eighty-one items are available through the hand-crafted bid items.
