A block of a key road in Estevan will remain closed on Wednesday night and into Thursday.
Souris Avenue South from Fifth Street to Sixth Street, along with back alleys, is closed with no through traffic due to a water break.
Fifth Street will remain open for east and westbound traffic. Access to Kendall’s Supply is from Sixth Street and access to Johnson’s Plumbing and Heating is from Fifth Street.
This will affect the truck route that cuts through Estevan as well. Westbound trucks will travel down Fourth Street during the construction. Eastbound trucks will use the truck bypass north of the city, or they can use Sixth Street to access the truck route.
