For the second straight week, a Yellow Vest Movement protest was held in downtown Estevan.

People gathered in front of Estevan City Hall to express their thoughts on such issues as the carbon tax to be imposed by the federal government, the treatment of veterans by the federal government and the United Nations migration pact.

The protesters spanned Fourth Street from the west edge of City Hall to the sidewalk in front of the Estevan Court House. Many of them stood in the south intersection at Fourth Street and 11th Avenue.

They remained until after a truck convoy, featuring hundreds of semi-trailer units, had rumbled past. The Yellow Vest protesters cheered loudly for the trucks.
