A walk-in COVID-19 immunization clinic will be held at the Estevan Church of God on Sunday.

The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Immunization is available to anyone who meets current vaccine eligibility. You will be turned away from the clinic if you are not yet eligible.

Appointments cannot be pre-booked. They are first-come, first-served only. A valid health card and/or identification will be requested for each person getting the vaccine.

On its website, the Saskatchewan Health Authority says it is likely you will encounter some wait times.

People who come are also asked to wear a short-sleeved shirt, wear a mask at all times and clean your hands upon entrance.

It is important to maintain a physical distance of at least two metres (six feet) from others - except those you live with.

Expect to stay 15 minutes after receiving your vaccine.

If you have had any type of immunization in the last 14 days, you will not be eligible to receive the COVID-19 immunization.

If you have had COVID-19, it is recommended that you wait 90 days to receive your immunization.

If you are currently ordered to be in isolation due to COVID-19, you will not be eligible to receive immunization.

If you are an eligible health care worker or clinically extremely vulnerable, you MUST bring documented proof of eligibility.
