Envision Counselling and Support Centre has announced that walk-in counselling will soon be resuming regular operation with some safety updates.

Starting June 2, the Estevan and Weyburn locations will return to regular scheduled days at the Salvation Army. The Oxbow location will start June 8 and continue every second Monday.

Walk-in counselling dates at the Salvation Army in Estevan are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Weyburn are Tuesdays and Fridays at the same time.

Oxbow Walk-In Counselling at Nobel HSSE Management will also be from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any schedule changes can be found on Envision’s website and Facebook page.

For individuals seeking Walk-in counselling, they can expect some changes regarding procedures to keep everyone safe. Clients will be asked screening questions related to COVID-19 prior to each session and masks and hand sanitizer will be available on site. Call-in counselling will continue for the time being for those clients who are more comfortable with telephone sessions or are unable to attend in-person counselling.

Call-in counselling can be reached at 1-306-637-4004.

A registration period will be held from 10-11 a.m. each day where individuals can sign up to guarantee a spot to see a counsellor. If an individual arrives outside of the signup period and the counsellor is available, they will be seen.
