A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect for a little more than 90 minutes Saturday afternoon for Estevan, but no further advisories were issued for the overnight systems.

Another thundershower went through Estevan Sunday morning, bringing more rain, and a severe thunderstorm watch was issued at 11:14 a.m. There was also a severe thunderstorm watch in place for the Carlyle area.

Additional rain is expected to hit the southeast region on Sunday, and more precipitation is in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
