Estevan and area emergency measure organizations (EMO) gathered at the Estevan Fire Hall for extensive training.
The federal/provincial Exercise Nexus Vitalus, which is a large-scale tabletop exercise designed to challenge Estevan EMOs’ capacities, started Tuesday morning.
The goal of the activity is to check if organizations are able to overcome some injects of a predesigned incident that’s virtually occurring and affecting the whole portion of the province.
It also tests the ability of local emergency teams to co-operate, work with the communities and other cities and share resources.
The next edition of Southeast Lifestyles will have more on the exercise.
