The Prairie Winds women's motorcycle club's 20th annual Ride for Ronald McDonald House departed the Estevan McDonald's on Sunday afternoon.

Participants will ride through part of southeast Saskatchewan. After leaving Estevan, went through Lampman and Arcola before reaching Stoughton, where they enjoyed a beef on a bun meal. Then they will return to Estevan.

Proceeds will be directed to Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon. Pam Currie told the supporters before the ride that they raised an estimated $5,000 this year.

The money is raised through registration fee, a raffle and other initiatives.
