Southeast Saskatchewan experienced some beautiful, but scary weather

The southeast corner of the province saw some wonderful lightning shows last night.

While the rainfall pattern once again proved to be very patchy, the skies all over the area from Lake Alma to Oxbow, from Weyburn, Carlyle and Stoughton to the border had a hypnotizing lightning performance going for several hours.

The Estevan area received just over ½’’ of rain.

There were also several reports of large hail west of Estevan. And at least one out of over 18,000 lightning reached the ground in Carlyle and set a garage on fire
