The Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced the temporary disruption to emergency and acute care services at the Arcola Health Centre and emergency services at Radville Marian Health Centre have been extended until further notice.

Due to active COVID-19 activity in the area and required realignment of health services to support patient care, emergency services are not available at Arcola or Radville at this time.  There are also currently no acute care patient admissions at Arcola.

Lab/x-ray services at either facility are not affected by this disruption.

The disruption in Arcola started on Jan. 15 and was scheduled to come to an end on Jan. 30.

In the event of an emergency call 9-1-1. Residents in the Arcola may visit the emergency department in Estevan, Redvers, Kipling or Weyburn, and residents of the Radville area may visit the emergency department in Weyburn.

Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 8-1-1.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is working to reopen the emergency department at Arcola Health Centre and Radville Marian Health Centre, as well as inpatient admissions at Arcola, as soon as possible. At this time, they are not able to confirm a date. Staff members have been redeployed to support the SHA’s pandemic response.
