Update: Frost advisory lifted for southeast Saskatchewan

Environment Canada has lifted the frost advisory for southeast Saskatchewan. According to the initial advisory, issued at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, a ridge of high pressure has spread an unseasonably cool air mass over parts of southern Saskatchewan.

According to the initial advisory, issued at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, a ridge of high pressure has spread an unseasonably cool air mass over parts of southern Saskatchewan.

Under the influence of this cooler air mass, overnight lows were forecasted to drop to or slightly below zero.

Temperatures were to moderate Thursday and frost advisories are not anticipated to return Thursday night.

The advisory was lifted at 4:27 a.m. Thursday.
